Polly Peke Tennessee Pekingese Rescue Oakdale, TN 37829. Tennessee Pekingese Rescue is a small rescue that works thru foster homes. We do not operate a shelter. We take Pekes and Peke mixes from shelters in the area, as well as taking owner surrendered animals in need of help. Many of our animals are special needs due to age or health issues. Because of their size, and the fact that they are pretty fragile, many of our dogs are not appropriate for families with small children. We will be happy to email you an adoption application on request. We do require a vet reference and a home visit. We are very good about responding to all inquiries we receive, so if you email and do not hear from us please check your spam filter or phone 423-369-3770.

Polly Peke Potomac Valley Pekingese Club Rescue Bergton, VA 22811. Our rescued Pekingese can be adopted out in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. If we are able to find resources to conduct a home visit and provide transportation, we will consider adopting to locations outside our core area.


Pekingese Rescue Network Inc. is a registered non-profit corporation dedicated to the rehoming of Pekingese in need. We are committed volunteers working to rescue/ rehome Pekingese. We do not operate a shelter facility. We foster all of our adoptable Pekes in private homes and rely on donations for veterinary and rescue costs. We only adopt to those who live in New Jersey, Connecticut and southeastern New York, including New York City. See our list of dogs needing homes here.

As far as we are aware, here are no dedicated Pekingese Rescues in Canada but if you know of one please e-mail us at peke@dogrescues.info

Chatham Kent Animal Rescue in southwestern Ontario, have been known to rescue Pekingese dogs.

Chatham Kent Animal Rescue
Chatham Kent Animal Rescue, (aka CK Animal Rescue), located in southwestern Ontario, Canada, is a non profit rescue organization comprised of dedicated animal lovers who volunteer their time, homes, love and commitment to care for our rescued dogs who were scheduled to be euthanized from high kill shelters. Many of our volunteers work full time and work many extra hours for the love of our rescues. Our ultimate goal is to find permanent loving homes through our foster/adoption program.

Our network of volunteer foster families are from the Chatham-Kent and surrounding areas here in Ontario, Canada. We do not have a physical location where you can go to view our available dogs. Our rescue is totally operated by caring people who generously volunteer their time, vehicles, homes and hearts to help our rescued dogs.
